Learn how to recognise key indicator species of ancient woodland, acid grassland, lowland meadow and more. Includes a complementary handout with a checklist of indicator species.

A hands-on day spent getting to know the top 20 most commonly recorded grasses in England. Includes a complementary fold-out field guide. (Bring your antihistamines, it’s about to get messy).
Botanical Walks

Casual, guided walks through seasonally appropriate sites in the Worcestershire countryside. Aiming to spot a variety of habitats and get to know the plants that inhabit them.
100 Plants in 1 Day

A day that aims to showcase 100 unique species of plant in one single day. Good for seeing lots of species quickly and getting a taste of biological recording.
Using Botanical Keys

Learn to use the botanical keys in the Collins Wildflower Guide in the company of an experienced tutor. Hand lenses, books and brain-frizzles all provided.
